It is our honor and great pleasure to host the IUPAC International Conference on Next Horizons in Polymers: Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Polymer Society of Korea (PSK), which will be held on September 28 – October 1, 2026, at BEXCO, Busan, Korea. This conference will be an attractive event with 5 plenary and more than 100 invited lectures by renowned speakers worldwide.
It will be an open forum for participants engaged in polymer synthesis, polymer physics, polymeric materials, polymer engineering, and related emerging areas. We expect more than 2,000 oral and poster presentations and exhibitions at this conference.
We are sure it will be a valuable chance to obtain insights and new perspectives on polymer science and engineering. We are confident that all participants from academia and industry will benefit greatly from the scientific exchange opportunities provided by this conference.
The Polymer Society of Korea (PSK) was founded in 1976 and currently has around 4,500 active members. We are proud that members of PSK have contributed a lot to the dramatic development of the Korean economy for the last 50 years. Now we are gladly celebrating its 50 years of contribution to the development of polymer science and technology in Korea, by hosting a special conference of IUPAC-PSK50.
The conference will be held in Busan, the second most populous city in Korea after Seoul, known for its vibrant culture, beautiful beaches, and international atmosphere. We believe that all the participants can enjoy the beautiful natural scenery as well as the scientific programs by attending IUPAC-PSK50.
As the organizing committee chair, we wholeheartedly invite all of you to come and enjoy this conference, and your
participation will make the conference more valuable and successful. We look forward to seeing you in Busan in 2026.
